In my 44th life, I believe I was an only child
With a coat of fur and a breath of fire

I'm an ancient laboratory

A soul could ever need

Then came the trickster man
He had everything I didn't know I wanted in the palm of his hand
I said "That's quite the elixir man!
It's a fixture, even out here in the promised land"

he turned his head
and strode into the sunset
and a feeling,

Separation? Indignation.
